To Our Amazing Volunteers

Thank you so much for volunteering at Ride for Joy this year. You continue to be an inspiration to me, whether you are horse leading, side walking, gate keeping, helping with games, parking, completing office work, cleaning, fundraising etc. You are touching the lives of so many of our students and their families by your willingness to give.

We know that it has not always been easy traveling to Emmett, but your charitable and caring attitude is such a positive influence on all of our students and the Ride for Joy staff, both two and four legged. We truly appreciate your dedication and efforts. We are so honored to have you as part of the Ride for Joy team.

2017 is shaping up to be an amazing year for us. Did you know that we are on target to provide over 900 equine assisted activities and therapies by the end of the year?

So far, we have provided more special education field trips to the barn and successfully completed our first ever Ruck Up & Rebuild event. Our therapeutic riding sessions and the veterans’ Riding through Recovery sessions continue to expand and evolve, as will our All Abilities Camp in July.

RFJ is now able to offer our equine assisted activities and therapies to all ages from 4 to 104. To support our developing program needs, our four legged therapist numbers are growing, too.

Kuddos to the awesome Kelly, her equine team, and your willingness to attend volunteer trainings.  Bottom line, we could not accomplish all of the amazing things that we have done without you.

So, from all of us, THANK YOU for being part of the RFJ team and helping to create the magic that happens at the barn!

Sincerely,

Marybeth Conger
