Veteran Culture Training

The staff, board and volunteers of RFJ are invited to a special training on the cultural influences created by military service.  Conducted by George Nickel of Wyakin Warriors, this training will enlighten civilians to special considerations in communication and working with veterans, both at the barn and in the community.

Mr. Nickel has extensive experience with veterans as a long time service member himself and in his career field.  He has graciously volunteered his time to enrich the knowledge at RFJ so that better services can be provided and RFJ can create an open and accdepting community for all veterans.

Please RSVP at hminer@rideforjoy.org.  Spaces are limited.  Meet in room 111 at Eagle Nazarene Church no later than 5:30.
