Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. Preference will be given to applications received by the dates listed below.

  • Spring (apply by December 15)

  • Summer (apply by May 15)

  • Fall (apply by August 15)

Eligibility:

  • 18 years or older

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Must be available to complete internship hours on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays between 9am-6pm.

  • All interns, volunteers, and staff at RFJ must clear a criminal background check.

  • Please check individual position descriptions for additional eligibility requirements.

Internships are unpaid. Ride for Joy is not able to provide housing or stipends at this time.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Ability to independently complete required forms, schedule online, and report internship hours.

  2. Ability to follow directions, communicate clearly, and respond to emergencies effectively.

  3. Reliable roundtrip transportation (Uber/Lyft do not pickup here).

HOW TO Apply:

  1. Review Ride for Joy’s website and learn more about our organization.

  2. Email Shea Cobb your resume, internship semester preference, internship emphasis, dates available for the internship and day of the week (Tuesday and or Wednesday) you are available to work during the internship.

  3. Complete the online internship application and waiver & release form. Pass a background check.
