Who We Are
The Ride for Joy Therapeutic Riding Program is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that brings the joy – and many therapeutic benefits! – of horses to Treasure Valley children with special needs.
Ride for Joy is only possible with the help of the many generous donors who fund our operations, as the lesson fees cover only a very small fraction of our actual costs of providing services. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today to help us continue this wonderful service.

Our vision is to become the Treasure Valley's premier center of excellence for Equine Assisted Activities and to embrace and celebrate our students, families, staff, volunteers, donors and the community as our partners in achieving this vision.

Thank you Curve Cowboys
The week of Aug 30th some very special cowboys and cowgirls rode into Boise. While they were here, they met some of our students, took some of our staff for a ride up Bogus Basin Road and stopped by the barn. By the time they left, they had captured our hearts, became part of our herd and raised over $41,000 for the students and horses of RFJ. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU Curve Cowboys!
