Who We Are

The Ride for Joy Therapeutic Riding Program is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that brings the joy – and many therapeutic benefits! – of horses to Treasure Valley individuals with special needs.

Ride for Joy is only possible with the help of the many generous donors who fund our operations, as the lesson fees cover only a very small fraction of our actual costs of providing services. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today to help us continue this wonderful service.

Mission & Vision

Ride for Joy believes that individuals with limitations have a right to unlimited possibilities. We open up those possibilities by providing experiences that are safe, professional, compassionate and inspiring. We facilitate these experiences through equine riding programs, classes and camps.

Our vision is to become the Treasure Valley's premier center of excellence for Equine Assisted Activities and to embrace and celebrate our students, families, staff, volunteers, donors and the community as our partners in achieving this vision.

Ride for Joy is a
PATH International
Member Center.
