“Ride for Joy has been an amazing experience for my son who has Down Syndrome and Autism. He is non verbal and has a hard time with eye contact. When he rides the horses, he behaves completely different! He is cooperative and excited! He understands instructions and enjoys every second of it! He loves coming to Ride for Joy and the staff are always ready to help and are very kind! Thank you for a great experience!”

“I wanted to write you and thank you for allowing me to participate in the R&R for Veterans. It was very well coordinated. The classes were interesting and helpful. I know that none of this would be possible had it not been for the awesome volunteers and staff. Everyone was so helpful and guided me throughout my time there. I really enjoyed riding. The meals were great and I really enjoyed it. When someone is blind, there are certain things they are able to sense and feel and I wanted to share this with you and your staff and volunteers. First, being at the ranch brought a feeling of peace and calmness. I sensed through your voices and touch that the people who helped me really and truly wanted me to have a great experience. I felt their excitement for me. I am grateful for everyone. It is with heartfelt gratitude that I say “thank you to all” for this awesome program that helps Veterans like myself.”
